  • We enjoyed this museum, especially the recreation of the passenger compartment of the transatlantic zeppelin. There was alot of objects related to the blimp.  more »
  • I enjoy history so this was quite a learning experience. This is a big museum with vast history of the Zepellins plus a reconstruction of the Hindenburg. Worth a visit.  more »
  • Very well done and interesting. We spent a good hour and a half here. Most things are translated in English.  more »

  • This place is pretty interesting. It details the history of the Zeppelin and even features a partial mock-up of a full sized Zeppelin. The entire museum can be seen in 1-2 hours. There are a lot of high quality models on display and some educational displays as well. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in flight and is in the area.
  • A snazzy museum with a modern style that chronicles the history of the Zeppelin airship that had it beginnings in Friedrichshafen. The spacious museum has a good collection of artifacts and reproductions related to the airship—including a full-size replica of a portion of the Hindenburg which stretches over three floor levels. The reproduction provides a look at the ships sleeping quarters, lounge, communications room and even the provides a look at the colossal inner structural elements of the massive craft. I would have expected more artifacts and reproductions but this somewhat minimalistic approach with lots of open space follows the current trend in museum design. Information in both German and English is provided on most displays. Lockers for bag storage is also available for visitors. A small but well stocked gift shop is situated off the main entrance (and exiting the museum does not necessitate traipsing through the shop like so many museums).
  • Very fascinating museum with lot of interesting material from the Zeppelin era on show. The museum features also a collection of vintage cars focusing on the history of 'speed'. Definitely worth visiting.
  • Great little museum with a zeppelin of course. It's not a big museum but very interesting
  • amazing place to discover the history of Zeppelin. I suggest to buy the kombo ticket with Dornier Museum.
