  • A lovely cathedral. The best part is the east end which costs 2euro. Well worth it to see the chapels and High Altar. Very helpful lady found me a leaflet in English.

  • Beautiful church from the middle ages. Well preserved and free to visit. A visit takes about 15 minutes and can easily be fitted in to a visit to the Freiburg Altstad.

  • Great and impressive cathedral. The Bell tower is definitely a must-see and worth the long climb. Aim to be there 15 minutes before the bells ring so you can be get a good view point close to the bells.
  • Freiburg was magical. We loved the buzz and the food at the open Market. And my daughter laughed at me for taking pictures (intentional pictures) of the sidewalk. What can I say - they were beautiful mosaics. I'm so happy we marked this warm historical city as a stop along our travels.
  • Awestruck by the beauty and massive size of this cathedral in Freiburg. Visited the attraction and the surrounding area on a Sunday. Most shops were closed. But still had an enjoyable stroll along the cobbled streets.
  • This is certainly the most important monument in Freiburg. It is the heart of the city. Impressive old cathedral. On the downside, it's always full of noisy tourists, which doesn't specially recommend it as a place for prayer and meditation. That said, it's a must see.
  • The Church was closed when I visited. But there was a Wine festival. The ambiance was cool and fun. Although it was very hot. I had fun tasting the wine. The Church is lovely. It is my second time in Freiburg and I like it there.
