  • We often sit after a market day on Saturday in the old guard - House of the Baden wine - and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the market action, listening to the street musicians or watch the different city guides that make guides. In the autumn, there are also new wine with onion or Tarte Flambee in addition to wine. You can drink delicious, homemade red or white mulled wine at Christmas time. Also on the Christmas market site "Bottom Linden" is a stand of the House of Baden wine, which sold mulled wine and is always very busy.

  • Simply cosy wine drink anytime of the day for a break while shopping or for the wine after work or to meet with friends. Ideal

  • Were on our free day once again in the city, and because the weather was so beautiful, we drank some more wine and Federweisser in the old guard. To sit with beautiful view over the market place great directly at Münster. Around noon, was still honesty, hope that will change in the evening. Price, it is appropriate to the level of the Cathedral square. Food I have seen very little, but not bad-looking. Bottom line: always worth some wine in the Sun and beautiful atmosphere of the market. I can not write to a food.

  • Great selction of wine. Nice atmosphere infront of the Münster but not really cheap (around 7€ per glass of wine). Still worth it.
  • Great selection of local wines by the glass, as "Viertele" or by the bottle. Some interesting red and white wine iced slushies. It's a bit pricey for a self-service bar, but offers a nice and relaxed atmosphere sitting outside right next to the Münster. There is only basic snacks and no meal menu, so don't arrive hungry.
  • A great place to relax after sightseeing and enjoy some fantastic local wines.
  • The best atmosphere in Freiburg, at least when the weather is nice. Great wine selection, great views of the Cathedral and the old department store, that everything is partially under palm trees. Although the wine is slightly more expensive, but the atmosphere makes up for it. Because there is no food, we get something from market and wine with a beautiful glass eating dirt.

  • Modern cuisine in the old used. The food was delicious, the wine tasting really good. The same applies to the service.
