  • The Terra Mineralia offers a unique mineral show, both the number and quality of the exhibits concerned, as also their presentation. The exhibition is distributed over two floors and is divided according to geographical criteria. The objects are presented clearly and in good lighting in the display cases. The beauty of the shapes and colours of objects surprise again and again on the new. You can not get enough! A selection is shown in a separate room of minerals under UV illumination. For the visit you should plan necessarily 1-2 hours. Also suitable for children.

  • Very beautiful collection. Rich, very informative and without abstruse academic geology is simply too easy, beautiful and most importantly a lot-in principle this principle and has been compiled. Minerals from all over the world, perfectly stored and selected by the regions from Africa to the far east of Russia. Many are really unique. General Museum is unique-thanks to the author for the collector and Freiberg mining Academy-not leave such a collection in Germany and would not have been possible. Anyone interested in minerals of course just needs here. Takes to long lock on several floors. When you recognize that this is only a small part of the rest in storage-General you get lost in the scale of the collection

  • Very interesting museum. Unfortunately expensive. Anyway 5 stars.
  • The most beautiful mineral collection in the word. Totally worth the visit.
  • Worth a visit especially with guide. The collection is really huge and very comprehensive. With a guide, which guides one through the collection, one learns much background information and learns to appreciate even more the minerals. It is a truly wonderful exhibition.

  • A beautiful Museum with an interesting and extensive geological exhibition. The historic ambience fits perfectly to the exhibition and some a few interactive elements loosen up the exhibition. A special programme for children is offered.
