  • The Museum is a Museum and not owned by any glass manufacturer who wants to exhibit his pieces and sell, really to find as almost any place in the Bavarian Forest. That makes this museum unique. The building is bright and airy and during our visit, the sun shone so that the showrooms of light were flooded and something still gave the displayed glass objects. First you can learn something about the history of glass-making and the social and political implications of the very interesting, accompanied by stunning pieces from the respective eras. Also follows a very vivid and detailed exhibition on the production process of glass and as a glass factory in the immediate past has worked, with all also causes its employees and social problems, through the ceaseless automation. The special exhibition of modern glass object was fascinating as well as the Hausensee with its large exhibition pieces. Much to recommend, even though it is not necessarily a fan of glass art.

  • Small, beautifully crafted glass museum. Many beautiful pieces! Very interesting insight into the development of the region, the development of the glass production and the social fabric of the workers in the production of glass

  • For those interested in something will be, but for others, but the highlights are missing. There are many exhibits, a little interaction or change would do well. The entrance fee €4 is in order. Duration ca 1 hour.

  • Great made exhibition. Different aspects are used to convey the theme of GLASS: history over thousands of years, effects of political events also over the millennia and centuries, raw materials and processing, local glassworks with its people, families and individual constructions.

  • Very interesting and appealing. The Museum is also a nice playground with a climbing park. If it's too boring to children, they can already times out :)
