  • The little old church at the Mainkai near Römerberg is a late Romanesque, extended in the 14th century Gothic collegiate church with beautiful stained glass Windows and frescoes. Worth a visit!

  • I really liked the exterior architecture of the Church. Love come inside beautiful in terms of architectural art building, always interesting to compare the appearance of the with inland. Go and see for yourself, this is fascinating!

  • Leonhardskirche was built in 1219 as a late Romanesque Basilica, but was later made Gothic. It is nice at the Main straight at the Eisener Steg, almost opposite the Dreikönigskirche on the other side of the river. The Church escaped pretty much destruction during the second world war and, like Alte Nikolaikirche at the Römerberg is the genuine, historical building, which unfortunately does not have very many Frankfurt. The Church's interior is currently (2016) under renovation, and I had to make do with watching the Church from the outside.
