  • In darkness through the Palm Garden... mystical mood is spreading. The winter lights are a really special experience.

  • Since I am anyway very passionate about plants of all kinds, I had time in the Palm Garden. Now to the cold season, there was plenty to see in the summer it must be then still great! In particular the course through the various areas such as rain forest and savanna vegetation was very interesting, the lizard that happened to us on the way, also very amused us. The Palm House is also beautifully designed. Have discovered some people who have sat and read and knitted in this atmosphere. Almost as comfortable as in your own living room, only with slightly bigger room plants I'll definitely come back. Often.

  • We enjoyed our time here so much that during our 3 day stay in Frankfurt we came here twice! We were here in August when the weather was hot and sunny. The Palmengarten was a tranquil oasis in the cit...  more »

  • I brought my students on field trips here, even though the "water park" area is small it entertained over 50 kids for a couple hours. I personally enjoyed the cactus house a lot, coming from Texas. Lots to see for nature lovers, and plenty of places to grab a lawn chair, lay out and relax
  • Frankfurt's beautiful botanical garden is an ideal getaway for a day. Although, one might soon realize that it can be less. It also depends which part of the year you visit. There are sections for various flowers. There are also musicals conducted and I was lucky to catch up a Trumpet Concert. Totally recommend this place when in Frankfurt.
  • Hands down the biggest and most beautiful botanical garden you can find in Germany. The green house is wonderful, filled from ground to ceiling with exotic plants from all around the world. Not so many people visiting even in the weekend. I consider this is the excellent spot for reading and sunbathing. I'll definitely return in the future.
  • Terrific botanical garden and more, like nothing I've seen elsewhere. The climate zones are wonderfully curated, great outdoor gardens and lake.
  • Great for kids too. The park is huge. All the way in the back is a great playground with a water play area.
