  • Stunning building has been finished in 1880, Frankfurt's opera house celebrated German high culture and the newly crated nation. Mozart and Goethe flank the entrance, reminders that this is a house...  more »
  • I passed by this incredible opera a few months ago. I think it looks as impressive inside as it does outside, but unfortunately, because of covid-19, couldn't check this.  more »

  • Great place to visit. The walk through the park with a smaller fountain which leads into the larger water fountain and this beautiful building is a nice walk. The area around here is worth checking out. Spend some time walking around the area, checking out the restaurants and shops.
  • This place is great for some nice photos. Usually there is always something happening around this square, sometimes there are Latino food events and it's a great time with a nice atmosphere.
  • I've experienced better sound :), but the place overall is wonderful. The seats are relatively comfortable and the venue lends itself beautifully to different types of performances.
  • Great place which often hosts various events and fests which on the other hand block the bicycle paths.
  • I went to see the Frankfurter Philharmonic perform Carmina Burana witha 200+ choir. Although we sat in the 5th floor, the sound was absolutely breathtaking. The soprano was clearly heard and carried even pianissimo parts to the very top. The opera house was initially build in 1880 but damaged heavily in WW2 so had to be rebuilt in the 1950s. The building is still very beautiful and the acoustics are astounding! Well worth a visit.
