  • Not the American Museum of Natural History in New York but a very good museum in its own right. Along the same lines as the one in NY on a slightly smaller scale.  more »
  • It's a big atration of this city. It has a very big colection of birds, fishes, reptiles and mammals. The first hall is a very impressive, because it has a geat exposition of dinosaurs and fossils. I ...  more »

  • My visit with my six year old son was great. One of the few museum he actually enjoyed. I Would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately there wasn't enough translation to understand the orgin of the majority of the things represented in the museum. Each item had a story to tell but if you don't understand German or have a translater, you,ll never know it...
  • Not bad for its limited size. Kids go for the dinosaurs which are represented by a nicely chosen collection of skeletal casts. There is also a baby triceratops to climb, for the youngest visitors. Theme exhibitions once in a while. As of today (this review), one about underground fauna.
  • Very nice museum. Great collection of dinosaur skeletons, fossils and animal exhibits (especially birds). Certainly worth a visit.
  • I would expect more interactivity nad less dead birds. Souvenir shop very poor.
  • You can experience a great piece of natural history here. Kids liked the big dinosaurs' skeletons the most. A big collection of birds and animals is impressive.

Hauptwache, Konstablerwache, and the Main river enclose the heart of the city, an area of activity with a range lodging options. The old section of the Sachsenhausen area is also an epicenter of activity with a range of accommodations; it also offers a vibrant nightlife.
