  • MMK1 is unusually shaped like triangles of cake. It is small in size, but are displayed in the permanent exhibition and satisfied. Monthly last Saturday, admission is free and that, coincidentally, for free, I was lucky. Carry-on baggage must not entrust. And stating that you want to take pictures when I get "Fotoerlaubnis" seal. You must put this seal shooting if you want photos of works. Films playing in the women's toilet cubicles, was surprised. Please don't miss it! It is recommended that MMK2 branch is from MMK1 is watching.

  • Once you decide to check out some museums this one should be on your list. It's always fun to see whats going on inside. It's located in near to city center just across the river Main. You can walk fr...  more »
  • Even for a fan of modernism that was all-inclusive special exhibition bids once again - as recently in Rome - only offputting. After some exciting architecture and the expense. Shake your head about as much "art" that comes not from the can but from the dump. What a pity.

  • Didn't see much English introduction here so for someone who love modern art or know German, quite a good place to go. Staff are friendly.
  • Nice building and expos but as too often in Germany there is no service, very unfriendly personal and very little English information. We had to let our handbags with passports and money at the cloakroom for some unknown reason even though many people had handbags inside..
  • Awesome museum for modern and "weird" art. The exhibitions are very interesting and often involve interactive elements making the spectator part immerse himself into the art piece. If you're searching for the kind of art that makes you think, question - even question where art begins and ends - and most importantly have fun, the MMK is a must have in Frankfurt. Usually 2-3h are a good time to spend at the MMK 2.
  • Great space for art, friendly staff and really good contemporary art on display.
