  • In the Centre, the main guard, is the Baroque St. Catherine's Church. The late-Gothic Hall building with Baroque portals from the year 1681 considered as a model of other church buildings. Even the family Goethe went to the St. Katharinenkirche for the divine service. in 1944, the Church was destroyed and rebuilt in 1954. Especially worth seeing, the Gothic "Mary with the Crescent" on the outer wall, and inside are a late Gothic Katharinenfigur, the Gallery pictures from the 17th century, and the stained glass Windows by Charles Crodel.

  • Modest church without some great ornaments-a nice altar and baptismal font. But often forgotten there for a free organ concerts. And really take advantage of this opportunity.

  • It is a Protestant church built in Baroque style; It is located in the Center, near the Galeria Kaufhof and at Zeyl but unfortunately, apart from admiring the exterior from below or from above by a high terrace nearby, other things you can't do. I've been there before on Saturdays and Sundays, both morning and evening, finding more fully closed (demonstrating that it is always closed there are couches of bums now fixed abode in front of some of the back and side entrance doors). Such a pity!

  • Beautiful Gothic cathedral. Only one between Cologne and Strasbourg. Go to the back and look inside the bone house for a bit of a fright.
  • Welcoming and peaceful town, ideal for a relaxing Sunday
