Iron Bridge, Frankfurt

The Love Lock Bridge-----must see across the Main river. Smaller foot bridge with locks lining both sides of the bridge. Locks which supposedly symbolize " everlasting" love. Beautiful views of downtown Frankfurt from this bridge. Easy access from both sides of the bridges to river walks along both sides of the Main River. Selfie spot for sure.

A very good bridge. It links the northern shore if the river Main, where downtown Frankfurt is located with the southern shore, where yo find Sachsenhausen, a nice place with a quite good choice of small shops, bars and restaurants. The bridge itself has a great view on the skyline and for those who are not in a good shape there are elevators at both ends.

This bridge crosses the Main River in Frankfort going to the Altstadt (old town) portion of the city. From the bridge you can see part of old town with skyscrapers in the new portion beyond it. The bridge is for pedestrians and bikes only; the steps up to the bridge include a separate narrow, ramp section that can be used for a bike as you walk up the stairs.

This bridge has gorgeous views of the river and the buildings that line each side of the river. There's also restaurants and bars on either side of the bridge that are only a short walk away from the entrance. The bridge also has "love locks" from couples all along the bridge so it's a great option to take a date and do something romantic! You can also bring beers as you walk along the bridge. It's pretty cold walking across the bridge in the winter, so I would recommend to wear warm clothing and definitely bring some gloves!

Nice place to visit and take your pictures. It has a great view from the bridge and nice walking trails under the bridge. Definitely a good spot to spend some time.
