  • Like all trips in Germany, Sunday with everything closed stage almost a must at Zoo.In renovation, visiting well with quite a few animals to observe.

  • Most felines are asleep.. Be prepared that tigers, lions and other felines are either asleep or invisible. Great outdoor activities for kids, interactive playing with funny goats. Nice birds, fish, re...  more »
  • For animal lovers can not visit it. Zoo very organized and well cared for animals. This is one of the oldest in Europe.

  • I was there with kids, and we had a great time. There is no elefant, but still a few goats for cuddling. Very good monkey area and birds cages!
  • Localized in the middle of Frankfurt. Very easy reach. There are two train stations, one in the entrance, the other in the exit. The tour takes around 3 hors. The climax is the apes section.
  • Terrible place. Couldn't see many animals. The whole Zoo facility and spaces for the animals were not maintained well. Really felt sorry for the animals there. It is worth going there once. But not recommended to go more than twice.
  • If it's a cold day you have the chance to see the animals in their internal enclosures with gives you the opportunity to have an Hippo or a Rhino very closely! Overall animals habitats are well designed giving them good space to live! Compared to other zoos in Europe this is a bargain! Need about three hours to walk trough it.
  • Not as big as I had imagined, but still worth a go. Soon the new penguin house will be ready. It should make it even more worthwhile.
