Hauptwache, Konstablerwache, and the Main river enclose the heart of the city, an area of activity with a range lodging options. The old section of the Sachsenhausen area is also an epicenter of activity with a range of accommodations; it also offers a vibrant nightlife.   • It's a long street with very many independent shops and bars. I visited on a Saturday when there was a market with food and drink. It is very varied and can safely take up a great deal of time. It is ...  more »
