  • Stunning Schwartzwald winter scenery! Amazing skiing, great places to eat and drink, with pricing typical of a resort town. Family friendly!
  • Up it went with the box mountain railway to the top of the box. Was windy and very cold in January. Therefore we try in the summer again with the gondola.

  • It's great place to visit when you plan to join at black forest.
  • Quite easy path to the top, but beware of strong winds, and the temperature is always around 3°Celsius. In the middle of May there still was snow laying around. Enjoy the view from the highest peak of Schwarzwald!
  • It's great for hiking with children. Great views.
