  • Who visited Essen and the Ruhr area must visit the Villa hills and must look at the history of the family and company Krupp. A guided tour is recommended. All in all very impressive especially for people who have not grown up in the Ruhr area.

  • The domicile of the fam Krupp is worth not only during exhibitions a visit. In addition to the Rüumen with wood-panelled, the exhibition in the small house is interesting. A walking tour in the Park is to the Viewer. An iron horse and a small house for the children for Krupp to contain.

  • Upon entering the site, I was very awesome - not only the size because, but also because of the historic backgrounds. It is exciting to spend his time and explore the grounds. Art exhibitions within the Villa are very affordable and appealing theme. You can spend a nice afternoon here in any case.

  • I really liked it. They have a nice collection of tapestry of Raphael Cartoons showing scenes from Gospels and Apostles. I liked it overall with the guide telling us the story of the family line. It is a must see.
  • A place from recent history full of beauty, love and over all, hard work...
  • Has visited the villa, its a massive listed building worth visiting especially by every conservative soul that believes in preservation. A popular site in Essen. A visit will convince you. Enjoy the site and the history behind it. August 2015 was my third visit to the site in three years.
  • Just amazing! beautiful castle and wonderful garden!
  • 5 euros just to enter the grounds with the gallery closed ????? and they are fairly boring
