  • Impressive and alienating. Vain monument to one of the most important industrial families. A house where actually no one can want to live, let alone non-families. The alternative: the height, Margaret. Both made by Krupp.

  • I really liked it. They have a nice collection of tapestry of Raphael Cartoons showing scenes from Gospels and Apostles. I liked it overall with the guide telling us the story of the family line. It is a must see.

  • Has visited the villa, its a massive listed building worth visiting especially by every conservative soul that believes in preservation. A popular site in Essen. A visit will convince you. Enjoy the site and the history behind it. August 2015 was my third visit to the site in three years.
  • Just amazing! beautiful castle and wonderful garden!
  • 5 euros just to enter the grounds with the gallery closed ????? and they are fairly boring
