  • A very impressive place. The Villa is situated in the middle of a park. From the Hill, it has a wonderful look at the Baldeney Lake. The Museum tells the history of the Krupp of family and their businesses.

  • The Villa was built in 1870-1873 by Alfred Krupp Hill in the Essen district Bredeney. She is the former residential and municipal of industrial family Krupp. The Villa features 269 rooms on 8,100 m m² of living and usable space and is situated at prominent position over the Ruhr Valley and Hill Park associated the Baldeneysee - in the 28-acre. The Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Stiftung is now owner of the Villa Anwesens. In Hill is also the Ruhr cultural foundation established. Events, such as concerts or exhibitions, held at the House. Numerous historical rooms, as well as the historical exhibition Krupp can be visited to the regular opening hours. Also a guesthouse is invited at the disposal. The Krupp describes the Villa life and career impressively dynasty. Happy but the people who lived here, were actually never. The children "enjoyed" the Wilhelmine education. The "machine for living" primarily served to represent the firm of Krupp on the outside. Absolutely worth seeing!

  • I really liked it. They have a nice collection of tapestry of Raphael Cartoons showing scenes from Gospels and Apostles. I liked it overall with the guide telling us the story of the family line. It is a must see.
  • A place from recent history full of beauty, love and over all, hard work...
  • Has visited the villa, its a massive listed building worth visiting especially by every conservative soul that believes in preservation. A popular site in Essen. A visit will convince you. Enjoy the site and the history behind it. August 2015 was my third visit to the site in three years.
  • Just amazing! beautiful castle and wonderful garden!
  • 5 euros just to enter the grounds with the gallery closed ????? and they are fairly boring
