  • We had booked a group tour, which lasted about 90 minutes. Our guide could describe very lively and vividly the history of Villa hills and the Krupp family history related. It was also not unquestioning adulation, but a sophisticated representation of Krupps in all facets. I can see the Villa hills ever since in a new light and can highly recommend the Guide. ... And afterward the Baldeneysee...

  • We wanted to visit the Villa hills. Unfortunately, it was not open due to an event. We paid the entrance fee of 5 euros for the Park to see the Villa from the outside. That was not really worth it.

  • I really liked it. They have a nice collection of tapestry of Raphael Cartoons showing scenes from Gospels and Apostles. I liked it overall with the guide telling us the story of the family line. It is a must see.
  • A place from recent history full of beauty, love and over all, hard work...
  • Has visited the villa, its a massive listed building worth visiting especially by every conservative soul that believes in preservation. A popular site in Essen. A visit will convince you. Enjoy the site and the history behind it. August 2015 was my third visit to the site in three years.
  • Just amazing! beautiful castle and wonderful garden!
  • 5 euros just to enter the grounds with the gallery closed ????? and they are fairly boring
