  • Great village near the city of Essen. Especially in the Christmas season, great decorated and adorned Christmas. Great Christmas market, great Brangenmix, nice service in the shops. Many events are offered throughout the year. FaxIt... Kettwig is worth a visit!

  • Small cute old town with "Thank God" still healthy retail offer. Very good restaurants, fashion, bars, everything you to life needs. A trip to Kettwig - no matter what weather - is always nice. I love Kettwig.

  • In the summer or when the Sun seems everything rides, flows walks, dog-walking go Kettwig, because it is just incredibly idyllic. The streets, Stäßchen, the small fine restaurants and shops are the total opposite to the North of food: here is the world still heal and stopped 50 years ago. Here, spits and no one directly in front of the people on the ground, phone loudly at the promenading, blaring nobody with his embarrassing cart in the peaceful pedestrian area. Proportion of foreigners: hmmm, no saw. Luxury buildings: ooohhh Yes. Adult. Right on the river. Gastronomy:-Hettchens bridge Café: unique situation/Outlook, unfortunately narrow (table neighbors), cakes look great, but it is still missing what to rate it as such. -WeinCafe chocolate: very nice! Very good coffee and good wine selection! -CONCLUSION: The Sun is shining? Then off to Kettwig!
