  • A large and several small halls make quite clear the fair in Essen and the walkways clear. With public good developed is East or West with the U11 5 minutes from central station directly to the exhibition entrance.

  • We participated at the bike fair. The fair, environment, infrastructure works. I was allowed to run in with the car and put my stand up (one would lie 100 EUR deposit) then we had 2 hours was given a refund. We lived in the city and two train route 11 every day back and forth to 2.70 euros each way and runs every 10 minutes a pleasure instead of all the traffic. The day after the fair I again drove the car into and took the stand down since it was many exhibits which took off after the fair closed. A B C exhibition where there will be two shopped merrily

  • Nice large rooms with enough lighting temperature is also good. Food/drink is on the pricey side but restaurant and cafés. Buy tickets quickly and easily online or at the box office in the exhibition centre.

  • Year after year we flock to the Essen conference halls for Spiel! One of the world's largest board game conventions! It's a very well done Messe, with clean lavatories, nice food and in overall superbly suited for a magical never ending journey through halls adorned with all the board games you could ever desire ;)
  • Visited for Spiel17. The place is HUGE! Facilities are good but there was quite a queue for the toilets at the busiest times of the fair. I’d like to see clearer signs to indicate hall numbers from the outside of the building.
  • Been here 3 times for Spiel. On all occasions there was no parking near the Messe. Had to park 20 min drive (shuttle service present) away. Also the halls seem somewhat chaotically organized, no logics involved here. Very noisy, but that's probably just being a big place with lots of people.
  • Great venue for all kinds of fairs. A lot ofbig and rather cheap parkings. Just toilets are hard to find.
  • Amazing space to host fairs. Visited during the International Games Event SPIEL (2017), which I found to be comfortable and didn't feel too crowded.
