The huge Egapark Erfurt includes a 36-acre park with a variety of themed gardens, exhibition halls, and activities for adults and children. Walk through a 6,000 sq m (19,685 sq ft) flowerbed, then climb the observation tower. Smell the rose garden, and wander through the lily and iris beds or the Japanese gardens. Don't miss the large water-fountain area, where you can man the controls to make your own water show using about 20 different fountains. The various houses are home to reptiles, butterflies or cacti. Children will delight in the kids' farm, as well as the large play area with a climbing section and waterpark. A cafe and restaurant ensure you'll be well-nourished during your visit.
