  • We had never heard of the Castle. By advertising to the Faberge exhibition we came here. We were impressed with how well maintained everything is and how professional the guide was conducted. Only from the coffee, you should stay away. (Extra review)

  • The visit is worthwhile. A beautiful plant with engl. Garden and a great architecture. Really worth seeing are the rooms with the exhibits, the guide takes at least about 1 Std.bis has seen all the rooms. When homemade cakes, a café with terrace and garden view loads to the stay a. Visit if you do it in Fulda station.

  • When you are in the area, worth visiting, plus exhibitions. In summer the countryside is nice as well. The ancestors of the current owners used to be, until 1918, the counts of Hessen.
  • At the 21.09.16 Castle visited Pheasantry and made with a tour of the Castle. The guide takes approximately 1 hour and was designed by the staff, very entertaining and informative. The facility comes mostly from the 19th century after the renovation works - which are still ongoing - is the so-called "Women's and Mr. wing" beautifully presented. Also the garden is worth a visit.

  • Schloß Fasanerie is a little gem with very many art treasures, not expected in a remote location. The guides were well done, informative, and understandable. I saw except for the Palace tour still the "treasures of the Czar's daughter" and was thrilled. My real goal was the Faberge exhibition. I had seen before the world-famous Faberge eggs, which are certainly wonderful treasures. But here was primarily the fate and the deep ties of 5 children of Grand Duke Ludwig, a lifetime in great communion had written countless letters to and sent many gifts. Just including this little Faberge treasures. I was deeply moved and enthusiastic than it had managed each large Imperial Fabergé egg. The exhibition is very well done, accompanied by many photos and understandable explanations. The catalogue deepened the information again and shines through beautiful photos. A great reminder! The totally overpriced and over-extended Militar was negative for me. Castle Fasanerie is unfortunately so situated that it poorly can be reached by public transport.

  • Fascinating garden. Whether shooting only going for a walk or just beautiful photos. Place for rest and comfort. Castle is beautiful. Restaurant unfortunately a bit expensive, but it is also good.

  • One of the most beautiful castles with a beautifully landscaped park with a fantastic Café restaurant with Sun terrace. The castle tours and the Museum are strongly recommended.
