  • The monkey and bird park Eckenhagen is located idyllic in the Bergisches Land and is ideal for young visitors. Parking is available free of charge at the entrance and sufficient. The terrain includes the enclosures for cottontop tamarins and Barbary apes, as well as several aviaries and animal facilities and leisure facilities. Overall a good idea which is however poorly implemented. You should maybe one thing really focus on and invest money for it, but the mixture in this park is a bit questionable. There are some new enclosure to recognize, but there is still much to do. Most of the animals have much too small and neglected plants. However, money for new leisure activities is available. The Park should decide whether he wants to be a theme park or an amusement park with enclosures. Together it doesn't fit here in this case unfortunately, because the animals to be neglected. There, 13,-€ pretty much are entry.

  • The Park is really very nicely constructed and great for an animal park and clean. There are lots of species of birds that can be seen. At the entrance there are to buy food for some animals. Which animals you can feed may and which is not, on the enclosures on it! The best is of course, where one in may pen and the monkeys run around freely. The monkeys are really sweet and are used to it, but still you should beware. It is staff of the Park through the enclosure regularly and pick up trash and watch for the animals. If you want to see the whole Park, one should follow the signs for "Tour". The Park offers a few attractions for children. Most of which costs however additionally. There are small huts in the park with barbecue this is free can be rented. A really nice idea. It is that some guests are not, that the monkeys should not be fed and still make it or leave their garbage in the enclosure. Something doesn't have to be real and it's dangerous! For this, the Park can do anything.

  • The Park is clean and nicely arranged. Some animals were not to watch due to the weather conditions. The enclosure had that the kohlrabi on me personally absolutely animal meet (larger than in most zoos), with the exception of. Here you would want an even larger Aviary. All in all but totally in order. There were relatively few visitors in the Park, what we have considered very pleasant, so we could extensively pet goats and feed the monkey. In the summer, it is certainly still enhances the experience also because there are barbecues and many playgrounds for children. Positive noticed are also the many employees who have taken care to plant and animal life during our stay in the Park. Dogs are allowed, but not directly into the enclosure of monkeys. Special animal feed costs €1. As a whole, a visit is recommended.

  • Super!
  • The park itself is run pretty but pretty down in the low season. Many enclosures were empty. The monkey enclosure but really shocked us. We were there a few months already. This time the railing on the side of the road were almost not present so many visitors ran straight through the enclosure and have harassed the animals. Young animals have been pursued by screaming children. Staff that reminds the visitors of the rules was not present. In addition, trash was everywhere and the water was filthy. We went really sour from the Park and will no longer visit him. Also work the children attractions like relics from the post-war period.

  • Really great Park, with many interesting animals and attractions. Even on a winter day of rain is worth a visit because of the great indoor hall. Large climbing paradise and good food. The star deduction there for the price of admission. Especially, if in winter, only a few enclosure are occupied and the Park is still not really well maintained, not the full ticket price should be required.

  • Everything used to be better! My husband and I are then happy to come to you and have found, in contrast to today, not as dirty. Let's start with the get on. 1. so big "business" and not card payments possible? Seriously? Found itself no own ATM there! The "step" away with children back and are looking for a bank! The directions were not that long, we would be driven directly back. 2. If such a nice weather today very many visitors there had been and therefore impossible 'peaceful' Barbary macaques to be found! Garbage, animals eat packed was given, and far and wide not orderly / employee! 3. a moldy Wickelunterlage? It should I wrap my child? (You can find pictures in the photos) If you fail, but actually in all possible variations! As an adult with children shows just how dirty is your shed! My son should ask for money from you! He has the whole 3 hour always brought garbage and kicked in the few available bins! Nothing on the animals, and certainly not to the customer is you, so how is here the owner is trying to make! Never again!

  • My first visit to the Zoo was full of anticipation, to spend a beautiful day with dear friends. It was a beautiful day, but as animal lovers can not be seen over in the Park is so something amiss. I've seen rarely so badly maintained and down lost equipment. The first impression, the Meerkat plant, is the naked horror. The aviaries are ailing unfortunately also for the part. Monkeys are beset by visitors and which are not good for the monkeys fed with food. Very pity, the Park would have more potential to offer. Here, there is absolutely a need.
