  • The City Museum is the oldest Museum in Düsseldorf. On two floors, it shows the history of Düsseldorf, from prehistory and early history up to the present day. The City Museum is a Museum and. Therefore, it has created a comment layer that enables visitors to communicate professionally and unconventional. The visitors have the opportunity to come over an arc of communication with scientists in contact. The completed arches are edited regularly.

  • A museum that tells the story of the city, which was founded in 1874 in PalaisHondheim. In 1991 was made its expansion with the construction with a modern annex to old building. Is now presenting an exhibition of Harald Naegeli. Advantage of being free.

  • Nice museum but kinda big for the city.
  • The Museum is not worth it. It is conceptually not to fathom. The exhibition is not appealing and chronologically disorganized... Children are indeed free, which is very commendable, but they get very bored! So better eat ice cream on the Rhine.

  • Those who are interested in the history of the city should look at collections of the Museum of the city. Here you find not only history to damming and chuckle, but you can learn a lot to the whole suburbs of Düsseldorf. There is so much that you don't know about your town. Also the integrated Museum Café is nice. Definitely worth a visit!
