Not as long as a promenade in Frankfurt but it has more bars and places to sit and enjoy the day. You can also walk to Medienhafen and make some pics for your Instagram. more »

Great pathway connecting the "media harbour" and the city centre of Düsseldorf. Can enjoy the busy street life and water ways. Opportunities for drinks along the water front.

Good place to relax, drink a cup of coffee and admire the awesome view. There are a lot of benches. I also saw 1 public bookstore where you can take a book you like and donate as well, very cool concept. You should never forget to visit this area if you are in Düsseldorf!

This place somehow reminds me of one place in my home country, way back where all restaurant and bars are still standing along the bay. I like the mood here, so relaxing, chilling and slow. It is really nice to have a short walk right after your stressful work or maybe meet your friends and have a small drinks together or have a dinner while chit chatting and catching up. You can also just go by yourself if you want to have a silent day and do a meditation.

Great to watch the ships go by, enjoy a walk in car free area, visit a restaurant or just stop for an Alt. At normal water levels there are 2 wide pedestrian areas with on the occasional resident slowly going by in a car. Some winters they even organized "cross country" skiing right in the center of town. For sunny days its a recommendation to sit out on the lawn next to Apollo at the south end. Any day there is the easy to miss museum KiT with a cafe and underground exhibition room
