Oberkassel, Dusseldorf
(4.3/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Look at Dusseldorf from a different angle at Oberkassel, a neighborhood chock-full of Art Nouveau architecture. This neighborhood preserved its early 20th-century character largely because the Allies ignored it during World War II. Admire several notable architectural beauties, such as the Neo-romantic St. Antonius Church and the Evangelical Resurrection Church, both built in the early 20th century. Shops, restaurants, and beer gardens abound. A visit to Oberkassel represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Dusseldorf itinerary maker to plot your vacation.

  • Calm and quiet district of Düsseldorf, where respectable and not poor. This place can be visited together with other attractions.

  • This town district of Dusseldorf opposite the Altstadt is via a bridge to reach on foot. It has beautiful monumental buildings, which are worth watching. Also here was a very nice Christmas market, which is less crowded and massive than the Düsseldorf counterparts.

  • Oberkassel lies "on the other Rhheinseite". Nevertheless you should look. It's worth.
