Garden Nature / Park
Enjoy the diverse design and tree-lined paths of the historic garden at Nordpark. Originally built as a propaganda exhibition of the National Socialists in 1937, this park is now home to a wide variety of gardens. Explore the geometrically planted flowerbeds, or stroll through the lily garden, which is surrounded by shady columns. Walk along the 170 m (557 ft) long pool with sparkling fountains, or check out the exhibition space where artists display their work. The Japanese garden has a path leading to small bodies of water with an artificial stream inlet, plus a representative ship pier and island. Visit the Aqua Zoo in the park if you like aquariums and fish. The restaurant and playgrounds offer a respite from your walking. • We went there on a warm weekend. The place is really big and we'll planned. Has some themed attractions. Liked the small and we'll kept Japanese Garden. Kids have a nice place to play as well.
  • At every entrance there is a stand with park/garden plan and pictures where you will see many different flowers and fountains. When you enter in the park , you walk every corner - you don't find those flowers at all. There is only 1 fountain. Also, there are 2 small pools full of green grass and fronts in it, though next to it you find an information poster of swans living on that pool. No swans at all! Only 2 small ducks were swimming in one of those pools. Shame. So big and nice and quiet and green park with amazing huge trees and green grass (not cut properly, only on few parts).
  • Beautiful small park good to walk around. Huge space of lawn, not so many flowers but good choice. The wisteria trees might be aged? Used to be more gorgeous.
  • always a pleasure to be here with family, however the Luebecker Aquarium takes way too looooong a time to get renovated.
  • Good place to spend an evening. Nice fountains and Japanese garden was a special attraction
