  • Still being renovated at the moment. Was formerly with own children there, now with grandchildren. Should be when it's finished, even more beautiful and instructive.

  • Interest in animals and they miss the Zoo in Düsseldorf? He has been destroyed in the war and it was decided to build no more... This one has the Löbbecke Museum, Aqua Zoo... Unique, I think...

  • Closed til September 22. 2017
  • I went there and it was clossed. I searched for this in internet (homepage) and there was no info for renovation and lost 6 euros for parking ticket.
  • Tried to find if the renovation was completed, but nothing in Internet nor on the phone
  • The Aqua Zoo is a must and worth multiple visit anyway. Not only fans of fish and the mammals living in water, but also insects and reptiles come fully at their own expense. Particularly on the heart can Sunday, where the Aqua Zoo still closer to nature the visitors with a special program. Changing to get closer on spiders, beating, scraping, or other animals.

  • Wonderful Institute for families and animal lovers. The only zoo in Düsseldorf and thus also the most beautiful :) You can experience much and much to learn. The animals are fascinating. There are guided tours behind the scenes that are very exciting. Up to the 21.9 unfortunately due to renovations closed, but on the 22.9.2017 is opened again...

Where to stay in Dusseldorf

The Old City, Altstadt, is the center of the action and offers a number of hotels and guesthouses. For quiet evenings and a view of the Old City consider the Oberkassel/Niederkassel area on the other side of the Rhine river. There is inexpensive accommodation in the Unterbilk area near the university, along with a collection of bars, restaurants, and cafes.
