  • Super nice to see. Definitely recommended! My daughter has enjoyed it! The animals have wonderful stay. Everything is well maintained. If I'm in the neighborhood I will definitely one more time!

  • very appealing and clearly designed. Otherwise as I expected had, there are not only fish/aquatic animals but also some insects and crystals. Especially liked the Krodokile and the ants, which very well could be seen in their work have given me. Definitely worth a visit!

  • I was very disappointed. After the lengthy conversion, my expectations were high, but unfortunately it wasn't so great for kids. On some devices, could the children not look, were too high. Also, there was no area where groups of children and families could eat with drinks and food. On the seating areas in front of the Aquarium, you can eat or drink. Out in front of the building there are benches but in the rain you can not sit down there, because they are not covered and in the winter it is too cold. Because something is wrong with the planning! Architects do not have families??? Unfortunately I have to say again, that Germany is not a child-friendly country. Hurrah for Skandinavien.Wirklich many alterations I have may not realize. The way is not worth for 9 euros! It's a pity :-(

  • Incredibly beautiful aquarium. I am really fond of such places and I have seen 2 aquariums in India. But none of them stands anywhere in front of this. This is beautiful and pretty well managed. Collection of fishes is very impressive. There are beautifully colourful fishes and really cute penguins. I saw naturally glowing colourful jelly fishes. I saw sea horses, sting ray fishes and sharks. It was a great experience. I didn't feel like leaving this place. A must see place if you are into such things.
  • Aquariums are beautiful even tho some of them are too small. Buy the ticket online! Because the line is long
  • 4 years renovation and still feels like an 80ties aquarium. Nothing modern in there and not much live animals. There is a lot to learn for older kids but it's all kind of dry. 9euro is too much, won't come again.
  • Nice place for adults and kids. Very educational place for the kids
  • Two hour wait to get in even on a quiet weekday morning.

Where to stay in Dusseldorf

The Old City, Altstadt, is the center of the action and offers a number of hotels and guesthouses. For quiet evenings and a view of the Old City consider the Oberkassel/Niederkassel area on the other side of the Rhine river. There is inexpensive accommodation in the Unterbilk area near the university, along with a collection of bars, restaurants, and cafes.
