  • There are three houses that fall under the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen banner, this one on Grabbeplatz 5, is known as K20. You can, as I did buy a combined ticket for K20 and K21. A free shuttle...  more »
  • Surprisingly extensive and delicately presented in a beautiful building. A place you have to visit when in Düsseldorf
  • Firstly, it seems there are all kinds of pictures and reviews of the K21 mixed in here. They are completely different and at opposite ends of the city! The K20 is the main gallery and has one of the b...  more »

  • Very good art collection. Upstairs is where the Picasso/Matisse etc is. Staff are very very annoying, as they follow you round and start getting annoyed if you look at a painting too close! I felt at some points I wasn't able to enjoy the art as they were putting me off! Apart from that absolutely amazing museum, worth the money for the art!!
  • Great art collection, is sadly under construction now. 09/2016 deserves 5 stars when fully operational, now it has Gursky and some other stuff put aside rather randomly. Staff slightly snobbish.
  • Went here last week and really enjoyed it. Some very interesting artwork to see. Was an excellent bit at the top where you got to walk around on netting (to explore life "in the clouds"). Certainly worth doing, but not if you are a bit afraid of heights... Really friendly and helpful staff too, not to forget a great cafe to end the visit on!
  • Great permanent collection and exhibitions.
  • Great Museum with many changing exhibitions and nice solid collection. Close to the old town and also for a detour in between to recommend. Who has fun at art in Düsseldorf should create for themselves the card of kind of, which gives free admission to many museums.
