  • Winery restaurant is available. Wine is poured directly from the barrel is very mellow and intoxication does not turn. Note that drinking too much, I learned many tricks, such as a delicious way to use if you open the lid from time slipped. Canapés were offered as appetizers are delicious.

  • On Sunday, the 20 November 2016 we wanted to enjoy again the terrace or the Burghhof weather (we come from nearby and are often on the Castle guest). The pleasure then literally stuck us in the neck. The prices are slightly raised (why, the look is probably calculated we knew) but now the price screw is turned to the very top. We should pay 7.50 euro for a quarter of red wine, this is our "Usury" in my opinion (especially as the red wine comes from Durbach and it is also a Selbsbedienungshaus!) it fetches the drinks themselves. This is a bottomless impudence. We will in the future go to the Castle and in the village, a little drink enjoy red wine (which tastes much better and even cheaper is served).

  • Visited out of season, so it was tranquil and not at all crowded. Lovely spot, good service, nice wine selection.

  • Absolutely gorgeous area, fantastic view over the hills of the black forest and on a clear day you can see all the way to Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg!
  • I love the place for its location first of all, but the food is also good) The only thing I can negative mention is that on holidays and weekends it is quite impossible to get the table
  • Absolutely loved the terrace with beautiful view over the vineyards and surroundings. A great pause after a walk through the forest and fields around. Really stunning !
  • The drive away with the car can be adventurous when on the narrow road a coach comes forward. Who would like to get around this, parks right down and runs the way 1 km upwards. The way to the castle is also disabled, there are no steps up. Once at the top is a small shop and the sales area of the winery. A small restaurant is offered to linger, which we but not visited. We enjoyed better views of the surrounding beautiful and worth several photos. Historical information about the town do not exist.
