  • Old castle with a small shop on regional delicacies and the restaurant with café and terrace with beautiful views of Offenburg and in Alsace. On the menu salads, quiche, delicious cakes & v. m. Tip: the Durbacher Wine Festival in October in the Chateau courtyard is atmospheric. A circular route through the vines or even a hike from Offenburg Ramersweier to Oberkirch is offered.

  • As a recommended destination for a hike. The way to the Castle, depending on where it comes from, is not "just", but the views and the pleasure of a beautiful wine Castle compensate more than enough.

  • Winery restaurant is available. Wine is poured directly from the barrel is very mellow and intoxication does not turn. Note that drinking too much, I learned many tricks, such as a delicious way to use if you open the lid from time slipped. Canapés were offered as appetizers are delicious.

  • Absolutely gorgeous area, fantastic view over the hills of the black forest and on a clear day you can see all the way to Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg!
  • I love the place for its location first of all, but the food is also good) The only thing I can negative mention is that on holidays and weekends it is quite impossible to get the table
  • Absolutely loved the terrace with beautiful view over the vineyards and surroundings. A great pause after a walk through the forest and fields around. Really stunning !
  • The drive away with the car can be adventurous when on the narrow road a coach comes forward. Who would like to get around this, parks right down and runs the way 1 km upwards. The way to the castle is also disabled, there are no steps up. Once at the top is a small shop and the sales area of the winery. A small restaurant is offered to linger, which we but not visited. We enjoyed better views of the surrounding beautiful and worth several photos. Historical information about the town do not exist.
