  • Wonderful place! any educated person simply must visit this place, see the works of great masters-Titian, Rembrandt, El Greco, Raphael. You stand before these pictures and time freezes. Still do not understand that I actually saw it! Heart skips a beat with excitement. An audio guide is not required, if you know anything about the great, still, not all the paintings have audio description. Recommend mandatory viewing

  • Such a beautiful collection of treasures. It was amazing to see, and the audio guide, included with the ticket price, was valuable.
  • Since I heard about Dresden from my lectures and saw the pictures of this neat but radiant city it has always been my wish to visit Dresden someday, and I did it after over 10 years long waiting. My very first footprints were in Zwinger (the Locals call it 'der Dresdner Zwinger' ) which is actualy a palace in Dresden and a major landmark of German baroque architecture. The location was formerly part of the Dresden fortress of which the outer wall is conserved. You could just take a cozy short or long walk the way the royal ladies did or if you have more time do dare yourself to experience the awe at the museums. To me Zwinger belongs to one of the nicest Castle/Palace I've visited in Germany (incl. Neuschwanstein, Linderhof and Sansouci).
  • Stunningly restored palaceial buildings and gardens well worth a walk round. Beware it gets very busy with tourists
  • Great collection, very clean, decent Museum, did not like just what the camera select outlet section, where the most interesting. It is very interesting for women so much jewellery, it ripples in the eyes from the brightness. But in other rooms there is something to see, a huge Hall, Hall of armour stone products, in General, go take a look, you won't regret it.

  • Even without entering the building deserves to be seen and photographed. Imposing, majestic and full of ornaments, really nice.
