  • Great place for a stroll and a whole half a day. Please note that in addition to Museum tickets and you ... unfortunately take extra money on toilets ...:(

  • Little value for your money. Some of the staff not helpful. You need euro in coins to use any toilet or lockers both in the museum and in the park. On the plus side the park is pretty nice.
  • It has beautiful garden especially in spring and summer.
  • A moderately interesting series of museums. Very little of the exhibits are explained in English. There seems to be no cohesive link between the jumble of objects presented here for the public's perusal.
  • Good place, it seems a fancy place back in the day very traditional, the service were not nice to us. But the food was good
  • Beautiful park with a big variety of exotic trees and plants. I did not like that you have to pay extra in order to be able to visit all the buildings.

Where to stay in Dresden

The Old City, or Altstadt district, is the city's historical center. You'll find a wide selection of accommodations around the major tourist sites. For an area that stays active both day and night, consider lodging in Aussere Neustadt, located northeast of the Old City. The Hellerau District has an urban and hip vibe, thanks to the fashionable young locals who populate the area. Boutique hotels contribute to the area's chic feel.
