Kunsthofpassage Dresden, Dresden

(400+ reviews on the web)
Historic Walking Area
Step off the main street into Kunsthofpassage Dresden, and enter a magical space that transports you far from the city, at least for a brief moment. Five small courtyards make up the area, a project completed in 2001 by a small group of artists and architects. Wander through the group of quirky, colorful buildings, each with its own style. Stop into an alternative restaurant or cafe along the way, or pick up a handcrafted souvenir at one of the little workshops. Check online for events. • The kunsthof passage is not very long, you can from the city noise here in the secluded courtyards and in the studios see little treasures. The small Cafés are also to the recommend.

  • Nice use of internal area of buildings, transformed into hot environment, with cafes, restaurants and shops. Unique decoration of the walls, including a song of rain, tubing set that capture rainwater and, when disposed, plays music.

  • This neighborhood and this passage were a nice surprise for us. We were taken by friends, otherwise we had never seen. the neighborhood and the cafes/restaurants are what more alternative, but so much more enjoyable. Total else as "the old town"

  • Beautiful hidden path. A nice tea place around this area. Give it a try. You will be impressed.
  • The most refreshingly artistic stop of dresden. Each courtyard has somthing special to offer. But the most attractive is the element courtyard whete 'music' is cteated by rainwater running through the interconnected rainpipe attached to the torquoise facade. Definitely a worth visit..
  • Such a unique place with architectural style and also designer shops...
  • Amazing art on the buildings. Cozy shopping passage.
  • Very nice facades, shops and people. One of the top spots to visit in Dresden Neustadt.
