  • Terrace, where it is cool in the summer and a wonderful view of the river Elbe. The staircase at the Augustus bridge is flanked by four statues which depict the four day period, IE. morning, noon, evening and night ...

  • The terrace offers beautiful views of the river Elbe and perfect corners for Nahsufnahmen of the impressive buildings. Very touristy but that bothers not in the least because the sight of Dresden's enchanted

  • The balcony of Europe. That’s the nickname they give Brühlsche Terrasse which is a beautiful place to take a walk. This used to be the city’s fortifications, leading from the Academy of Fine Arts all the way to Schlossplatz where the city’s main gate is located. I caught some artist doing their thing on the steps at the end of Brühlsche Terrasse. I suppose this is a good spot to plant yourself for a picture perfect view of Dresden’s castle district.
  • Great for an afternoon stroll along the river Elbe. Quite touristy, the views clearly don't only attract locals.
  • Great place to hang out and enjoy a little bit the contact with nature.
  • Very nice view on the Elbe River - Drinking beer on the benches is the best thing to do on a sunny afternoon :)
  • Wonderful terrace, wonderful view, but as well too many strange people...
