Nicknamed "the balcony of Europe," Bruehl Terrace offers superb views of the River Elbe. Take a walk down the terrace to admire the historic buildings and picturesque surroundings. Pause near the Johann Friedrich Böttger monument to look for a fingerprint in the guardrail of the terrace garden. It is said to have been left by August the Strong and to be proof of his strength. Pop into a cafe, sip a coffee, and watch the mix of tourists and locals walk by. Sehr gepflegte Promenade mit schöner Bepflanzung und Blick auf den Fluss. Von der Brücke aus sieht man die ganze Skyline von Dresden, einmalig. Besonders abends auch toll beleuchtet, nicht verpassen! more »
Well-kept promenade with beautiful vegetation and overlooking the river. From the bridge you can see the entire skyline of Dresden, only once. Especially in the evening also great lights, do not miss!View original -

Our front Yes mei, know where it's nice. The Brühl's terrace is for me always a must when I want to relax something: just squat down on the benches and on the panorama, the Elbe look with its Elbe River steamers and on people. Then the Coselstufen down step, again stating: Mei God is beautiful here.View original -

Great place to walk and relax. Sit on a bench and enjoy the riverboats passing by on the Elbe River. Occasionally some good deals from street vendors. Can sometimes find some little gems of artwork. Lots of history in the surrounding buildings. Do your homework before traveling and you will enjoy the trip even more. Depending on the time of year can be either packed crowded or almost deserted.

Next to the Elbe its a must see when visiting Dresden. Walk from Frauen Kirche across the Brühl's Terrace to the Dresdren Cathedral and you come across old buildings... museums and universities... if European Architecture interests you you can spend hours relishing what htis place has to offer!

Great place for photos of the iconic city skyline. sits right on the river and most tour guides will take you around this area.

A nice park with great view at the river, in the historical centre of Dresten. There is also a big fountain inside.

One of the must visit places in Dresden. The view on the historic buildings and the Elbe is really beautiful. The park located closely to it is nice for a break from all the sightseeing that can be done in the beautiful city.
