  • Overlooking the Elbe River and the history in the neck. A great place to see about the other part of Dresden.

  • The bridges I prefer to watch from the side. Walking across the bridge, rather appreciate the beauty of the coastal part. The bridge between my arrival was under restoration, as well as many objects in the architecture of the city. Be sure to visit the tour bus. during which you will pass not only on the bridge of the city.

  • When I'm in Dresden I here love to walk with the dog. This is especially nice at the time of the sun dawn or in the early morning when the sun comes up.

  • View from Augustusbrücke, the main bridge into the old city of Dresden. From Berlin, I took the DB Bahn (intercity train) and stopped by Dresden on the way to Prague. A pretty popular itinerary in recent years because Dresden only 2 hours away from both Berlin and Prague. Instead of a day trip, I chose to instead spend the night in the city, which turns out to be a pretty good move. I get to explore the city in a slower pace, and enjoy a beautiful evening view. You might have guessed, but the beautiful city as seen here from Augustusbrücke is actually fully rebuilt. The old city suffered devastating destruction during World War 2 and remained in rubbles for decades later.
  • Bridge that crosses the Elbe right near the historic old town. A pleasant stroll to get some really good views of both parts of town.
