With 1,840 animals representing 265 species--including the largest population of giant otters in the world--Zoo Dortmund offers 28 hectares (69 acres) for the creatures to roam. • Two huge empty pond basin are the first thing one sees upon entering the Park. Not a little empty animal enclosures, as well as several construction sites. No elephants. We saw only empty cages, not a single predator the predator range. A lone lion was merely on the surface. The overall impression of the Zoo was absolutely disappointing for us. Thank God there's some not-uninteresting playgrounds for the children. To sum up, the Zoo for us is worth no other visit. Very bad!

  • It was very quiet. A lot of animals were not there or were inside. A good zoo for little children. Free parking space  more »
  • The Zoo in Dortmund but isn't the greatest, but loads nicely to the stroll a. Especially the unbeatable price is always there come one. You could make here and there a couple beauty corrections, but I think that is aware of the Zoo. My friend doesn't come from Dortmund and was very enthusiastic about our Zoo. For children, there are enough ways to play with neat space.
