  • Great for photography. Has an urban exploration feel to it, but is fully legal as we paid 4 euros to get in.
  • Was invited to a wedding here. Absolutely class location with industrial romance. To recommend safe also for a visit.

  • A guide is compulsory to truly explore the terrain. While I have experienced both moderate and good guides. The plant itself is exciting to look at.

  • An absolute must in this industrial monument to visit. As many have already written, be sure to book the tour. Ours was made by a former employee of the coking plant. The leadership had to much information content, great stories from previous day's work and it paired with the typical Ruhr charm of the guides.
