  • For those who are interested to visit the production and show how a coal plant, probably will be interesting. If you came to Germany for history and culture, then I'm not sure that this is the best choice. However, the show is worth, the more travel quite convenient, nearby Metro station. Quite interesting and informative.

  • We are there in the winter and expect it to be even better in the summer. Many dilapidated industry. Recommended and easily accessible by public transport from Dortmund

  • Quite inconspicuous comes one of this Museum, if you drive off the road into the parking lot. Hard to imagine, as it has here looked at the active time. Everything clean, tidy, during the tour you can see much of what is hidden behind the vegetation. Again and again one fall a detail in the eye than individuals is beautiful alone, the mind movies can work. The machine shop is worth a visit. Here it can happen but unfortunately, it is closed for wedding celebrations. I needed two attempts to take this view. But definitely worth a visit.

  • A touch of industrial romanticism and nostalgia of the past

  • The lead should have allowed himself each time. There you can virtually run by the old coking plant and at the same time inform the industrial site. Warning, not for people with a fear of heights, because walking partly on the old tubes (paved road) the coking plant.

  • Who stands on industrial heritage, should look at the coking plant. Only during a guided tour, you can see everything really. For example the conveyor belts and above these areas. On occasions such as the ExtraSchicht, the coking plant is also nice colorful illuminated.

  • One of the finest stops on our tour of industrial culture! The audio tour was well done and it has gained insight into everyday Coke. The system has been maintained and it makes there exploring fun to go. We have left us much time and were on the road some 1.5 hours on the site.

  • It should also make Tolle plant and a guide, until you get the whole system watch.
