Enjoy a bird's-eye view of Dortmund from the observation deck of Florian Tower (Florianturm). Named after Saint Florian, the patron saint of gardeners, this TV tower was built in 1959 and was temporarily the tallest structure in Germany. Just below the observation decks, you can watch the sunset as you dine in the revolving restaurant. On the top observation floor, check out the installation and antennas for Deutsche Telekom, which has been transmitting television signals since the tower's inauguration. • Florianturm, is the Tower (symbol of the city of Dortmund), which is located in the interior of Westfalenpark. Enjoy magnificent views of the city and surrounding area from atop. It is worth approaching to it.

  • I was in Dortmund but could not visit. Schedule information on TripAdvisor does not match what is on the internet. How is it possible that one of the main attractions if not the most important one is closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only open the 2:00 pm. During the week just opens 3 days and during 4 hours a day knowing they would be vacationers in the city because there is a international game realizes how's attraction is not open longer
