(3.8/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy a bird's-eye view of Dortmund from the observation deck of Florian Tower (Florianturm). Named after Saint Florian, the patron saint of gardeners, this TV tower was built in 1959 and was temporarily the tallest structure in Germany. At 219.6 m (720 ft) high, the tower offers 360-degree views over Westfalen Park and the entire city. Just below the observation decks, you can watch the sunset as you dine in the revolving restaurant. On the top observation floor, check out the installation and antennas for Deutsche Telekom, which has been transmitting television signals since the tower's inauguration. • We visited in December so the weather was a little dull but what a view of the city wow it's well worth a visit
  • Even though I have fear of heights, I took this trip. The lift was inside so that it gave me no problems and was lightning fast. Outside there was a mega cold but also safe and mega nice views.

  • Symbol of the city that allows you to see all of Dortmund. Beware the restaurant and the Café at the top are closed. Provide €1.5 for the entrance of westfallen Park + €2.5 for the tower.
