  • On a beautiful summer day, sure visited a special experience. To take a picture, I'd prefer the afternoon time because of the solstice. In conjunction with a hike from Detmold a beautiful experience.

  • When weather is nice, you have a great foresight in the surrounding area. There are beautiful hiking trails around the monument. Signs are placed at various points, which provide information on the historical background. Good! There is an information centre with a small shop, a restaurant and a small pavement seating outdoors and a Kinderspielpatz. Unfortunately, large parking costs €2.50 fee. Access up to the monument again €3 (or €1 for children). The toilet more €0,50 (if not bad, she would be appropriately clean). Somehow you get here the impression that every little thing slightly extra charge... Overall, but still cheaper than so many other sightseeing. Nearby there are other attractions such as the externsteine in Horn-bad Meinberg (there is also a combination ticket).

  • Wonderful scenery while getting here, especially if you are on a bike. The statue and place itself has a historic significance to Germany. There is something to do for everyone, including a well constructed and challenging climbing park, do try your hand at it if you got time.
  • All I can say is "Wow". Spent the day exploring the site and was happy to have gone up the statue of Arminus.
  • wonderful place.
