  • Who even just a little bit interested in design brings up must have been here. The exhibits shown mostly but not only in cellar rooms make the time of the early 20th century to the end of the Nazi dictatorship come alive. Although the aesthetics and art history in the foreground stand here, you can access what was done at that time with the concept of "degenerate art" with hands. The origin and development of the Bauhaus and the teachers is wonderfully traced. I can only recommend it. The cafeteria in the basement is then rather bit too simple. Sue is also unfortunately barely above the level of a stand. But that may be so useful for students and other frugal. Or is the intention of such? Should apply here as well the motto: less is more?

  • Of course we came here not for the sake of it, but have time, so decided to stop by. In General, informative, of course, that's just all in German. It will be interesting in the first place, fans and connoisseurs of contemporary architecture. Oh, and one more important "plus" from the town's train station.

  • Something you like ok. Who has no experience because of the Bauhaus must not look at it. The architecture is beautiful when you stand in front of the House. Crushed a not and makes curious what one can learn as well. Birthday today to the Bauhaus there were presentations. You could buy items and books for children and people. There is an exhibition about the College. No original images from the classics of modernism. For example how to make a model of a dome from a large sheet of paper with targeted cuts. Children were instructed in how to build houses from empty matchboxes. Pictures of students at the Bauhaus, and much more. Large Windows in the stairwell. Spherical lamps. Uncomfortable Chair in the Bauhaus - style. A cafeteria with various pretty healthy burgers and coffee and cake.

  • Great place you have to visit in your life.
  • A must see! Be sure to get a guided tour to experience how lectures, student living and the directors room were.
  • If you like or are interested in Bauhaus, you NEED to see this. Good exhibit and great gift shop.
  • Must see for all architecture lovers. Beautiful buildings.
  • Intersting experience being there and sleeping in the same room where used to sleep big names of Bauhaus.
