At first sight it might seem like a nice trip with the family. You get to see majestic animals up close, you can feed the goats and the deer etc. What most people don't realize is how awful it is for ...  more »

When we were there, there were just Knight plays. We had so many to look at. The bird of prey show there is quite impressive. You will be asked to sit on the grass, and then let the vultures fly right over your head. The word span gets more meaning! Also feeding the wolves is very impressive. The animals are there as wild as possible and that you notice. These animals really still fighting for their piece of meat. (We have seen in other parks wolves fed are that so much too much food that they got no look worthy of approved). You can pay extra to feeding in the cage to attend but we saw in it not as much added value. If you are early enough on the platform, you'll see everything from there. (some pushing and pulling to get you to retain spot-tip: let children sit on the platform, so they can see everything between the bars through just fine). In addition, we also found the Knight play nice. The castle ruin was all dressed up in the medieval theme and there were all kinds of medieval activities for children. Dad's were also all the members changed into uniform to Knight, and that made for an interesting explanation and above all a lot of fun and jokes. A very nice experience.

The bird of prey show was very nice to see. The man who did that everything explained in a clear and funny way. We do have a "Greifvogelshow" seen more often, but it remains beautiful. The animals look good. Are well catered for. However, sit in cages. The Condor vultures were very special. Feeding the wolves was something less spectacular. Also here a clear explanation about how wolves live in prides. The park surrounding the castle is very nice for children. There is a playground and there are also goats and geese that may be conducted. The park restaurant we found not very special. Was previously a cafeteria with factory cakes ... Park Entrance €7 for pp really n recommended.
