  • Considering the mediocrity of the palace, the tour was really far too long at nearly 90 minutes (and it is entirely in German). If you enjoy taking pictures, forget it. It is not allowed. (Seriously? ...  more »
  • Beautiful castle within ASAE: paintings and sculptures, jewelry, furniture, glassware, etc.

  • The guide told very vividly Castle and its exciting history about across from the marketplace. At its entrance are the stone Prince. It will take probably still considerable time to the Castle receives its only shine back. Darmstadt is a beautiful town with an interesting history.

  • The castle is beautifully designed after the conversion. The special exhibition is unfortunately not to be recommended. You consists mainly of three rooms although the service force had promised us three floors to visit for the expensive admission. One of these stories was just four square meters, where we could find only five books, which were available at the box office. The temporary staff were not very friendly to us:-/. There were to be found mainly bored students who took themselves as too important and tuschelten behind our backs at the desk. One of them has followed us all the time and signed on as if we were just out to steal the already protected antiques. When you consider that the featured dishes and medals are already in sealed display cases, this general suspicion makes us to make much sense.
