A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Messel Pit Fossil Site is quarry filled an enormous number of well-preserved fossils. When miners were excavating the site for bituminous shale, the fossils--including birds, insects, reptiles, fish, hedgehogs, primates, and pangolins--came to light. Archeological discoveries are still being made here. You can tour the pit and the museum, but if you can't read German, consider hiring an English-speaking guide. • I was with a friend the same age there. We had a children's programme about Fossilien.Mein friend and I thought it was a pity that we could seek not any fossils. Instead, we had to learn to sit and the types of fossils in a container in the pit. The only thing we had from the mine, was that we ran to this container. The pit was actually very nice. Back to this course, we have a private fossil made from Gips.Danach we have played one more game, which was actually the best of the entire 2.5 hours. What stupid was that we were allowed to take anything out of the pit. My friend was stupid, because he has found something, what a larger gift would still understood it as this plaster Fossilie.Ich because it is a world heritage. Our mothers were in Darmstadt shopping. So, if I have a choice between shopping in Darmstadt and this course I had taken this course already. Linus at the age of 11
