I think you should not try to compare it with other parks, including are the creations of its creator. More, less, better ... It by itself! This Park-mood. This Park is another dimension of space, time, sensations. Probably, this park may not be an end in a single trip, but if you happen to be somewhere nearby-BE SURE to visit it. We were in 4 days and Cottbus went to this park every day at different times of the day-morning, afternoon, evening. And it was different every time! Different in size, light, mood, space. It can walk, sit, contemplate, observe ... endlessly. It lose a sense of time and space. Sometimes it seems that it is absolutely natural Wednesday. And when one realizes that these streams, lakes, man-made pyramid, are even more. Probably the enigmatic character creator placed their mark on this place. But it is luxurious, it absorbs. In terms of "household"-very well maintained Park, varied plant and animal life (ducks, swans, Heron sometimes). Good track, bridges, many benches, signs, sculptures, busts. There is a greenhouse, playground, Café (did not attend). The Palace is open for visits, including temporary exhibitions (us visit failed). Interesting pridvorcovaja area. Should definitely look at the man-made pyramid-weird and unusual. I don't want to leave.

with special "highlights". Thanks to its creator, the Prince Pückler, who is buried in the "pyramid", a landscape jewel designed in Lusatia, whose visiting win peace and relaxation and always new impressions about typical colour design of Park accessories and natural plant arrangements.

This morning we left early on to Cottbus, to make the most of the city and the green lung class its Park, saw that tonight back home. Cottbus is the cultural center of the ethnic minority group, Rowan. Slav, whose language is not spoken anymore. Bilingual signs are often written, however. We are in the beautiful Branitz Park, large, airy, held with such care, which offers picturesque landscapes. Inside you can admire the beautiful baroque castle, Schloss Branitz, and two pyramids, commissioned by Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau. One of them, Seepyramide, is at the Centre of a lovely artificial lake. It is nice to spend a day of calm, in a place not far from the Citadel.
