  • The collection is small but good. I would not say it warrants a visit for this collection alone, but since it is in the same building as the very interesting Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum and the ticket ...  more »
  • Museum full of excellent pieces, in particular statues and stained glass, medieval German, Hapy. Definitely recommended in a town rich in medieval history as a colony.

  • A beautiful collection of stained glass, ecclesiastical objects and saints. Normally you see stained glass Windows only from afar but here you can see fragments of very close. And that is very special. In the Church are sculptures and other objects from different times. Research on that very many pieces still point cool. The whole is nicely prepared, the exposure is good and the atmosphere is quiet.

  • Well worth the price of admission (which wasn't high anyway), this is a well curated collection in a beautiful setting. Impressive display of stained glass.
  • Great museum dedicated to religious art. Awesome collection.
  • By chance, since this museum right next to the new geöffenete ethnographic museum is located, we went in just out of curiosity. The Romanesque Basilica is St. millstone as the site of the schnutgen Museum at the nearby Cologne Neumarkt. The exhibition includes Baroque d. eras from the early middle ages through d. until the 19th century. The Museum due to the stock of his collection and his research is considered significant the middle ages Research Institute and is considered one of the most beautiful and richest collections of middle ages in Europe. Interesting but not a must. ;)
