Specialty Museum Museum
For a chance to spend an entertaining and educational day at a site designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, visit Odysseum, a science center and adventure museum opened in 2009. The site's elaborately designed theme areas cover about 5,500 sq m (59,000 sq ft), allowing visitors to become adventurers and discoverers of great scientific ideas. Don't miss the center's new interactive science game, opened in 2013, designed to let visitors of all ages combine fun and learning on a journey through science and history. The game starts at the beginning of life on our planet and, in a playful way, takes participants into the future, presenting them with exciting possibilities in science and technology. Check the official website to explore current exhibits, special events, and all ticket options. • Excellent, interactive science museum with various themes and lots of hands on stuff to do and some 3D cinema/live shows. Sometimes they have special exhibitions. Plenty to keep all the family interested although very young kids might bore easily. You need a certain level of German as not all of it is available in English. Loses a star for the restaurant that was quite poor and very pricy.
  • Quite expensive, but great for the kids. Sometimes, you can find a great deal through Groupon. More than half a day is usually too much for the kids.
  • Its nice to be here to see all cologne as panorama view
  • Very nice place to explain kids about science and instill interest in how things work....
  • Excellent kid's science museum with loads of interactive activities. Highly recommended. Parking available (underground) at 1€/hour (2016).
