  • With voluntary visits of a cemetery, many people struggle understandably slightly. But much like the Paris cemetery Père Lachaise Cemetery or Montmartre, many are now taken by the park-like grounds of the Melaten cemetery. Enchanted in some places with ancient trees and an always peaceful, quiet atmosphere, this old Park alone, who seek nothing more gives also visitors. The extremely numerous and beautiful angel figurines make a unique attraction.

  • Peaceful resting place: for the occupants and visitors alike. An pleasant strolling spot worth a visit in all seasons. Love the trees here.

  • Beautifully arranged green areas where it comes to rest and not only the deceased have a beautiful place. Everyone should have seen the Melaten Cologne time.

  • I love the Melaten - was there - very beautiful statues so far 5 x since 2010, and I love them. One of the most beautiful cemeteries, especially the female angels (statues). Once I was at a management - highly recommended. The good news: static objects don't run away, and the camera does not matter, it is only important, what you make of it.

  • Melaten is one of the most beautiful cemeteries I've seen. Here to get right on his walks on well-maintained roads to rest.
