  • You can venture a panoramic view of Cologne, here. On the transparent Plexiglas protection shows which building you can each see. Of course assuming good weather. The price of admission is absolutely justified.

  • It's a must go when visiting Cologne. You just have to pay 3€ to go to the 28th and discover a fantastic view. I'll recommend you to go around 10.30pm (it closed at 11pm) to enjoy the night view
  • It's the only place to go if you want to have a great night view of the cathedral with whole city. Recommended spot for those who love shooting night view photographs!
  • The view from up there is just phenomenal. It overlooks a lot of important sceneries in Cologne. Would love to do this again.

Where to stay in Cologne

The Ring is a semicircular area around the edge of the city's walls from Chlodwigplatz to Ebertplatz. Along the semicircle are hotel chains and boutique accommodations that offes ready access to the city center on foot or via a short metro ride. For access to nightlife, consider the Südstadt area known for its rock bars, cocktails, and theaters. The luxury accommodations in the elegant Friesenviertel area often attracts local celebrities. Search for lodging deals in the Nippes area, which is away from the busy center and known for its local character.
