  • I like the square because there is a great atmosphere especially in summer. There are quite a few restaurants that have chairs and tables on the terrace. Unfortunately Ebertplatz is not very nice and it remains a focal point of the world of the drug in Cologne. It was the other side is the Eigelstein Street, nor lovely area which leads to the main Cologne station. The same Eigelstein, Tower, building has a party room that can be rented for company parties or weddings.

  • These medieval gates are not very far from the main train station in Cologne. But the area around is not the most favorable Turkish district. Of course, they hit their power! The gates themselves were more than once in history. Remarkable small coat of arms of Cologne on the wall of the gate: three crowns and 11 curlicues. All images are fully Christian. Three crowns-three kings (Magi) who brought gifts to the newborn baby Jesus and whose relics are stored in Cologne Cathedral. And 11 flourishes is a drop of blood of St. Ursula and her girlfriends, was tragically killed. It is not a gift to St. Ursula is considered the patron of Cologne. If you go in this district of Cologne, just for the sake of this gate, as anything more interesting for tourists here.

  • Definitely my favorite place in what is one of my favorite parts of the city (Agnesviertel and Ebertplatz). This is a place full of character, with the old city wall gate standing strong in the middle of terraces full of people living there lives... Some tourist visits seam to miss this place, and that makes it probably a bit more authentic...

  • You can also rent the premises for celebrations. Very friendly at the start and rapid email traffic until we had signed the lease, then was no longer replied to emails until shortly before the deadline. It was a clean-up service offered and subsequently requires additional cleaning costs. The additional dishes had to be rinsed again largely by us. You can decorate the premises until a few hours before the start, since normally it's offices of employees and some simply remain office furniture in the premises and block footprint. Also located it on the 2nd floor with very steep stairs, what is very exhausting if you must wear drinks etc. The final bill had 4 weeks to wait, and it was only responded after repeated contact. Criticism due to the lack of reply emails, respond back. On the question of additional cleaning costs has been answered with an email, that during the summer holidays only on certain days staff located in the Castle and of course has been answered during this time and then not independently. Reply is left out. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended premises and contractors.

  • Fun, if you the story there belongs to. Without that it's just a port.
