  • Some good explanations of the history of the fragrance, but feels much more like a shop than a museum. So naturally I brought some original eau-de-cologne home for my wife, because she's worth it...
  • Who doesn't know that above the sales area (and in the basement!) a small museum that is something really failed. Here one learns everything there to know about the history of perfume and fragrances even. The tours, which will be carried out by an employee in the fashion of the 18th century are really spectacular. This is also for smaller children.

  • Museum dedicated to one of the most famous creations of European perfumery. Eau de Cologne is available in different fragrances that are the evolution of the original base. the Museum is well cared for. The images testify as they did the preparation of fragrance.

  • Excellent tour! We visited as a group of five girls in June 2015. You must book an appointment beforehand and put away your bags in lockers but it is definitely worth the trouble. They sprayed cologne on our wrists as admission. We attended the last 'historical tour' of the day and our guide, acting the part of the founder, was dressed in 18th century fashion, wig and all. The tour was very engaging, and we had the chance to smell samples of different perfume 'bases' in the original setting of the cologne factory. At the end of the tour they gave every visitor each a sample of the cologne in a round glass container. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Since it was the last tour of the day, we even got to have a little chat with our guide! About the Eau de Cologne itself, it has since become one of my personal favourites. The scent is unisex and subtle, which is very comfortable to wear. It reminds me of breezy European afternoons. It is none of that imposing and overbearingly 'loud' scents you catch from busy streets. Admission fee of 5 euros was completely worth it. We were so impressed with our visit and little gift that we felt like WE ripped off the museum.
  • The guide of the tour could be a little bit more sympathetic. I was discreetly helping my wife to understand some expressions and explanations, once she doesn't understand english very well, and he almost told me to shut up. Outside that, it worth the visit.
  • Wow, the tour exceeded my expectations. The interior and exhibits are very interesting and our tour guide was just lovely. It's all quite interactive as well - you get to smell different ingredients, for example. Finally, you get a nice present at the end.
  • Smells good. Tours are often crowded or full
  • The guided tour was interesting and nice. I recommend the place for everyone.
