  • This was worth it. And I mean trouble with the mountain steps. It is a brisk walk up, but on the way we were already enjoying the view. For 6 € you get a tour of this can be done in English or German, I also thought to hear somewhere in Dutch. We have the English tour and the lady was super friendly explained everything clearly, with a magic here and there. Well worth the effort.

  • 1. Climb to the Castle just 5-10 minutes on a winding Stone Road (you can climb on both sides). 2. Views of the beautiful city of Cochem, bridges and ships on the river Moselle and vineyards. Even if the lock is closed and you have risen to it-there's a great review free playground. 3. Entrance to the castle itself (there at the gate, hang the clock on which is written, how many starts the next group). Let the territory only with the guide who conducts you on the courts and halls, and will tell the story and the mystery Castle. If you do not understand German language guide will give you a sheet of A4, where everything is written in detail:) 4. Entrance to the castle is worth 6 € per person, ticket buying right from the gate in a shop with souvenirs. 5. Time of work with the Fund: from 10:00 up to 17:00 hours. The last time picks up guide people at the gate in 16:50. 6. attend advise exactly in good sunny weather. 7. Having experience in visiting castles, I want to say that this is definitely worth a visit! 8. Take pictures anywhere in all halls, any angles, rooms and items:) I hope my review will come in handy! Good luck!

  • We ran up the Hill to visit the Castle, there is also a train/bus up different routes to the Castle up in the driving season from Easter onwards. From the top you have sensational views of Cochum, the Moselle and the vineyards, beautifully. There is a Souviniershop and a café, the Käsesahnetorte was a dream ;-) From the terrace of the Café, you can also enjoy the view. We have visited the Castle then from the inside, €6 for an adult, our dog was in with. The castle is beautiful and well preserved, it has made me a lot of fun, the lady who showed us, has a quiet nature and knew lot, you realized how much you love the Castle. It is very cold in the Castle, in the summer I would what to the top draw to take if you are sensitive.

  • If you only have time for one castle and you want the fully furnished step back in time experience with a tour this is it! You can also eat or grab a drink as well which is a cool thing to say you've done!
  • Love this castle. Tours are every 40 minutes. Absolutely beautiful!
  • Wonderful castle and a wonderful view from the balcony. However, we saw only a small, small part of it in the 40 minute tour (6€ per person at the time), and then you are escorted outside. No wandering, no exploration...which was a little sad ☺
  • Beautiful castle with guidance inside. The children had a very nice time!
  • A must see if you are in Cochem. Very nice castle, with great views on the river and city. You need to climb some stairs and heights so be prepared. Good tour and nice people. Good facilities.
