  • The campsite is on the banks of the Mosel and a short cycle ride into the town centre. We were given a wide choice of where to place our camping van. All the pitches have electricity, but it depends o...  more »
  • Compared to the hardcore cyclists we drove only the modest step of Traben-Trarbach to Bernkastel-Kues. But, I must say, this little bike ride left and right of the model makes you want more! The start in Trarbach began immediately on the 'right' side of the Mosel. that flow towards the better choice right bank is for the first stage. From there, one has a great view on the slowly rising vineyards on the Northern Bank of the river Moselle. Direction Bernkastel-Kues, it changes banks then cross the second bridge to the other. The first bridge (with the yellow railing) one can also, must drive but then on the north shore a few kilometers directly on the busy embankment along before we again encounter a cycle path. The second bridge leads directly across the river and on the cycle path in the direction of Kröv. The small town of Mosel is offered for a small stop. We came up in the cellar of the rat and can recommend this restaurant. Kinheim again we changed the shore and biked about bike paths, partly through vineyards our goal against. Very abundant, there are opportunities to stop along the route. Maybe even the monastery is makers compared with Zeltingen recommended. Bernkastel finally brought us the Moselle river steamer in an hour back to the starting point. The tour is a great day trip and really for anyone to master!

  • Beautiful city, with beautiful landscapes of rare beauty. A boat trip on the river Mosel, and inperdivel where you can see the plantacoes of Grapes that give the wine and sold in the region. The Most produced Grape and the reasling, on the banks of the River, both on one side as the other, we can see several producers. An interesting fact, the floodgates making change in altitude of the River, impressive. A inperdivel ride for those who like to travel.
